The Wonderful World of Tone!
Scholarly

Definition: Showing much knowledge

"... If both neutrinos were electron-neutrinos, electron lepton number conservation would be violated in the final state.  However, if one of the product neutrinos were other than an electron-neutrino, then another lepton conservation law would be violated, because there were no other leptons in the initial state..."
~College Physics, by Serway and Faughn

The tone of this piece is blatantly scholarly.  No emotion or opinions are included in the piece-- only hard facts.  Many people know very little about electron lepton neutrinos, and would find this writing very bookish and boring.  The purpose of this selection is to simply repeat knowledge rather than entertain.
